Together, we strive to create a community where every animal receives the care and compassion they deserve. Job Description We are a busy 2-doctor hospital that operates Monday through Friday. Together, the doctors and support team are dedicated to the well being of pets and the people who care for them by using clear communication skills to educate and discuss best practices and outcomes in an approachable way. Veterinary Assistants play a vital role in our hospital, the foundation of which includes a friendly attitude and a self starting mindset. Some of the daily tasks are interacting with clients and their pets, cleaning, running diagnostic equipment, assisting the doctors, record keeping, and putting away inventory. We are looking for a punctual, friendly, compassionate person to help round out our team. This position will be cross-trained to help reception, and have rotating kennel hours on some weekends - typically every 4-6 weeks. The schedule for this position is still being crafted, but will be 3 or 4 days per week, a total of 30-36 hours. Wednesday nights until 8pm are required. An experienced Veterinary Assistant with a minimum of 1-year experience preferred Proficient in sample collection, obtaining medical histories, processing laboratory tests and radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring.
