Key Responsibilities: Conduct initial assessments for clients seeking therapy services, employing evidence-based methodologies to diagnose and identify appropriate treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Provide clinical therapy that encompasses individual, couples, family, and group counseling, addressing a wide array of mental health issues. Develop and implement treatment strategies in collaboration with clients, encouraging open dialogue and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner, adhering to agency policies as well as state and federal regulations. Engage continuously with community resources to ensure clients receive comprehensive care that extends beyond the therapy sessions. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, including agency in-service sessions and group supervision, to enhance clinical skills and maintain best practices. Contribute to organizational outreach and marketing efforts that inform the broader public about available services, mental health education, and the counseling process. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinical or Executive Director that align with the agency’s objectives. Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at the Family Guidance Center, you will engage with diverse client populations, including children, adults, couples, and families, each with unique backgrounds and mental health challenges. You will play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate life transitions, emotional difficulties, and relationship dynamics, fostering healing and resilience.

Qualifications: Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related human services field. Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Pennsylvania is required. Minimum of three years of clinical experience working with individuals across various age groups, preferably in a mental health setting. Possess Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance and FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services.

Preferred Experience: Experience in providing therapy utilizing trauma-informed care approaches. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems. Demonstrated competence in developing community partnerships to enhance service delivery.

Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
