(USA) Air Export Supervisor

Qualifications: Minimum of B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college or university: or a combination of an A.A. degree of similar emphasis, combined with an increased amount of industry/company experience may be substituted. Minimum of five years' experience in key phases of the freight-forwarding industry, focus in Air Export, with half of that total in a functional group supervisory role. Knowledge of carrier contracts and tariffs and federal and state government carrier regulations. Knowledge of export licenses and Carnet procedures. Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, dependable, persistence, time management, independent, documentation skills, scheduling and reporting skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors. Experience in Sales is a plus. Proven ability to suggest and implement corrective actions in case of issues that may arise.
