About the role

Bulletin Department Team Member6am start time, 50-56 hours per week. This position is in the bulletin area of the shop and would require the ability to assemble small pieces/tooling from a blueprint, strong written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency. The Bulletin Department usually refers to a team responsible for creating, managing, and distributing production or engineering bulletins—formal communications that tell employees about changes, updates, or special instructions related to manufacturing. May handle: Work instructions – communicating changes to how a part or product should be builtQuality alerts – notifying production teams about defects or issuesProduction notices – temporary or permanent instructions for the shop floorDocumentation control – ensuring the correct version of drawings and instructions is being usedDistribution/tracking – getting bulletins to the appropriate departments and confirming they were receivedLight assembly from a blueprintLabeling and boxing of parts/materialsExample: If an automotive manufacturer discovers that a bracket needs to be welded differently, Engineering may create an Engineering Change/Bulletin. The Bulletin Department might then make sure the updated instructions are documented, distributed to Production, Quality, Tooling, and other affected departments, and that the old instructions are removed from use. One important distinction: "Bulletin Department" isn't a standardized manufacturing department name. Some companies use the term for engineering change/document control, while others may use it for a more specific internal function.
