Minimum Experience: 7 years

Required Education: Master's degree in Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, Nursing Informatics, Biomedical Informatics, or a related field. Required License: Current Hawaii RN license or Hawaii MD/DO medical license, as specified in the job description.

Required Experience: At least 2.5 years of clinical or technical experience in a critical access hospital. At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.

Certification: At least one qualifying certification, such as CPHIMS, CAHIMS, RN-BC, Clinical Informatics Board Certification, an accepted AHIMA certification, PMP, or another certification approved by the facility.

Preferred Skills: Epic, Cerner, Oracle Health, HL7, FHIR, DICOM, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, clinical decision support, data analytics, and healthcare workflow optimization.

Work Setting: On-site; travel between regional hospitals and clinics on Kauai is required. Employment Classification: Permanent employee; 1099 arrangements are not accepted.

Position Summary: Lead clinical informatics strategy, EHR governance and optimization, clinical workflow improvement, data analytics, interoperability, and technology adoption. Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, IT, quality, finance, and executive leadership to improve patient safety, clinical outcomes, and operational efficiency.
