About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook with minimum 4 to 5 years of culinary expertise to join our team as a Staff Meal Cook. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing delicious and nutritious meals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook staff meals for lunch and dinner in accordance with quality standards.· Serve meals buffet-style, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized presentation.· Utilize your culinary creativity to enhance and diversify the staff meal offerings.· Work independently and efficiently to manage kitchen operations during day shifts (normal hours will be 9 am to 6 pm).· Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.· Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery.· Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and provide efficient service.
Qualifications:
- 4 to 5 years of experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen setting.· Proficiency in preparing classical dishes and a strong understanding of culinary techniques.· Ability to cook and serve buffet-style meals, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.· Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently.· Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.· Positive attitude, team player, and the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Competitive rate starting at $26 per hour, with the potential for additional compensation based on experience and performance.
