Job Description: Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our collaborative, physician-led team at Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson, part of the Henry Ford Health System.

About the Position: This inpatient-only opportunity offers a rewarding role within a community hospital setting supported by one of Michigan’s most respected healthcare systems. Clinical responsibilities include: Attending deliveries with neonatal resuscitation Caring for healthy newborns and hospitalized children up to age 18 Providing pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department Managing infants in our Level II Special Care Nursery, including: Prematurity (≥32 weeks)Low birth weight (>1500 g)Respiratory distress, infections, feeding issues, congenital anomalies Procedures Performed: Circumcisions Umbilical central lines Lumbar punctures Intubations Schedule & Teaching 12-hour in-house shifts on a rotating schedule Opportunities for teaching medical students, transitional year interns, and Family Medicine residents About Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson Located in Jackson, Michigan, our hospital is:~55 minutes from Detroit Metro Airport~40 minutes from Ann Arbor (home of the University of Michigan)~77 minutes from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Since joining Henry Ford Health System in 2016, our campus has experienced tremendous growth and innovation, including: A new Surgical Patient Tower with 66 private rooms (Fall 2018)A cutting-edge Innovation Center with simulation and research labs Full Epic EMR implementation (inpatient and outpatient)Join a Legacy of Care and Innovation Henry Ford Medical Group is one of the nation’s largest group practices, with 2,000+ providers.
