What You Will Do:
As a dual-role powerhouse, you will seamlessly connect our front-office hospitality with essential clinical support: Welcome & Guide: Greet patients and guests, manage check-ins, and assist them with intake and new patient forms. Coordinate Care: Schedule and confirm appointments, manage multi-line phones, and prepare patient charts ahead of visits. Navigate Insurance: Verify PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal, and Medicare coverage, and process co-pays or cash payments efficiently. Support the Clinical Team: Take vital signs, document medical histories/medications in the EMR, stock treatment rooms, and assist physicians during procedures.
What You Bring: Certification: Medical Assistant Certification and a current CPR/First Aid card.
Language Skills: Fluent bilingual communication skills in both English and Spanish (required).
Experience:
1+ years of medical reception or medical assistant experience is preferred (including familiarity with EMR systems like eClinical Works).Health & Safety: A current negative TB test result.
