Data Architect

Location: Remote/Hybrid - St. Paul, MN

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Azure Data Lake/Lakehouse architecture. Develop and maintain Azure SQL, Oracle, and Databricks-based data solutions. Design data models, database schemas, and data integration processes. Build ETL/ELT solutions using Azure Data Factory. Optimize database performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery. Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical mentorship. Maintain technical documentation and ensure data governance best practices.

Required Skills: 10+ years of Data/Database Architecture experience. Strong expertise in Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Databricks. Hands-on experience with Oracle Database. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL/ELT, and data migration. Strong knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database optimization. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure CLI/PowerShell, and Azure Resource Manager. Knowledge of RBAC, encryption, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills: Experience with Teradata Data Warehouse. Azure Monitor, SQL Analytics, and Query Performance Insight. Experience supporting government or large-scale enterprise data modernization projects. Thanks&Regards
