We are currently seeking an Environmental Services Technician to join our team in Pittsfield, MA. This position involves performing routine and on-demand cleaning duties within hospital departments, patient care units, and ancillary areas. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the healthcare facility, adhering to all established safety protocols and regulations. Job Title: Environmental Services Technician Location: Pittsfield, MA Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (5 Days per Week, 8 Hours per Day)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other healthcare facilities according to established guidelines. Disinfect surfaces and equipment using approved cleaning agents and methods, with special attention to high-touch surfaces. Collect, dispose of, and properly handle waste and contaminated materials in compliance with infection control standards. Restock supplies and maintain inventory to ensure healthcare staff and patients have necessary items available at all times. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and other tools. Report maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution. Follow strict safety guidelines and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Participate in emergency response and disaster preparedness activities when required.

Job Requirements: 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental services or custodial work in a healthcare setting.2+ years of current supervisory experience is required. Ability to perform duties and tasks in accordance with established standards. CPI Certification required for staff assigned to Behavioral Health Units (BHU) and Emergency Departments (pending after offer).Must be able to use communication devices such as telephones and pagers effectively. Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Must have your own vehicle (this is a firm requirement).

Pay: $20/hr to $22/hr on W2
