About the Role:
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including clinical outcomes, financial performance, census development, regulatory compliance, staffing, culture, and resident satisfaction. We are looking for a leader who is present, accountable, relationship-driven, and excited to help grow a high-performing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the facility
- Build and maintain a positive, team-oriented culture
- Partner closely with nursing, therapy, admissions, business office, and department leaders
- Drive census growth, skilled mix, and strong referral relationships
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and CMS regulations
- Lead survey readiness and quality improvement efforts
- Oversee financial performance, labor management, and operational metrics
- Recruit, develop, and retain strong department leaders
- Ensure excellent resident care, family communication, and customer service
- Represent the facility and company professionally in the local healthcare market
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Nursing Home Administrator license required
- Skilled nursing facility leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of SNF operations, survey process, Medicare, Medicaid, PDPM, and managed care
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance
- Strong communication, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with staff, residents, families, hospitals, and referral partners
Required Skills:
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who can balance people, process, and performance. We want someone who is comfortable being visible in the building, coaching leaders, owning outcomes, and creating momentum.
