Big Data/Hadoop Developer Mandatory Skills: Hands on experience in BigData space (Hadoop Stack like HDFS, Pig, Hive, HBase, Sqoop etc) Experience with Java programming Provide oversight and guidance to Hadoop team Ability to debug & write / modify Pig. Hive, Sqoop codes Ability to debug & write / modify Shell script/PythonVery good understanding of Big Data eco-system Candidate should also have good knowledge of Big Data architecture patterns, design patterns, estimation techniques, performance tuning and trouble shooting Willing to work on-call support over weekends Liase with multiple application teams & co-ordinate for issue resolution Good analytical & interaction skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of experience with IT
