A leading manufacturer in the consumer goods industry is seeking a Sr. Automation Engineer in the South Chicago, Illinois area.
Candidates Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in automation engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering or a related engineering discipline is required for this role.7 or more years of controls/automation engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated Rockwell PLC programming experience.
Experience implementing and expanding SCADA systems in a manufacturing plant - Wonderware experience is a plus.
Experience managing capital projects related to power distribution and/or medium voltage transformers is a plus for this role.
