Guest Services Internship Are you looking for a dynamic, professional internship or entry-level job that goes beyond basic administrative work? Join our Guest Services team and play a vital role in creating memorable Outer Banks vacations! This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in hospitality, sales, customer relationship management, and real estate support. You'll be a key player in a fast-paced environment, making a real impact on our day-to-day operations.

You'll see how a major business operates from the inside. Business Acumen: Seize opportunities to increase bookings, repeat guest loyalty, and recommend value-added services. You'll gain practical experience in upselling, negotiation, and handling payments. Field Work & Property Management Insight: Get out of the office! Conduct home tours, pre-arrival inspections, and other fieldwork, giving you a valuable look into property management operations. Tech & Data Management: Become proficient with industry-standard software (e.g., Salesforce CRM, call center platforms) by accurately documenting all guest communications and providing tech support for our guest-facing apps.
What We're Looking For:
  • Exceptional Communication: Stellar written and verbal skills with the ability to think quickly and professionally under pressure.
  • Organizational Mastery: Top-notch time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Professional & Adaptable: A polished, professional demeanor in all interactions, with the flexibility to work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable learning and utilizing new software quickly. Experience with platforms like Google Suite, CRM systems, or call center software is a huge plus!
  • Why This Role Is Great For College Students:
  • Real-World Experience: Gain hands-on, marketable experience in hospitality, sales, customer relations, and field operations.
  • Career Alignment: This is an ideal role if you are currently pursuing a degree or have recently graduated in fields like Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or Real Estate.
  • Build Your Network: Work closely with supervisors and professionals, building valuable contacts for your future career.
  • Desired Experience and Training:
  • Strong interest in property management, hospitality, real estate sales, or business operations.
  • Currently pursuing a degree or recently graduated (all majors are welcome to apply).Schedule Note: Working weekends is required. Ideally, two consecutive days off will be scheduled during the week.
