Carpenter- Maintenance Technician (DIRECT HIRE)

Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications Paid time off/ Holiday Major Medical, Vision & Dental 401kSummary: This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of carpentry, maintenance, repair, and fabrication tasks to ensure inventory remains safe, functional, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience performing general inventory maintenance. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while responding efficiently to maintenance needs and facility improvement projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Carpentry =Construct, repair, and maintain bars, bookshelves, stage facades, tables, chairs molding, framing, drywall, partitions, and other building components.• Perform finish carpentry work, including installation of baseboards, millwork, and decorative trim.• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials according to project specifications.• Complete renovation and remodeling projects as assigned. Maintenance & Repairs• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the facility.• Repair various types of inventory pieces to restore them to Rentable inventory• Complete painting, patching, and finishing work as needed.• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify issues before they become major repairs in facility. Building Systems Support• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs related to plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.• Replace fixtures, faucets, locks, lighting, and other building components.• Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs when necessary. Safety & Compliance• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and equipment safely and effectively.• Report facility hazards and recommend corrective actions. Customer Service• Respond promptly to work orders and maintenance requests.• Communicate effectively with management, staff, residents, tenants, or customers regarding repair status and project completion.

Qualifications: Required:• High school diploma or GED.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry, construction, facility maintenance, or a related trade.• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools.• Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Preferred• Technical, vocational, or trade school training.• Experience in commercial property or facility maintenance.• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and painting.• OSHA certification or other relevant trade certifications.

Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying environmental conditions.• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently throughout the workday.
