Control Valve Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Follows safety and quality procedures Must be able to read measuring/scaling devices Control Valve Tech responsibilities Cleaning, blasting, and painting valve components Support Control Valve Tech by mentoring Operate equipment (overhead hoist, blaster, parts washer, torch, etc.) Enjoy doing mechanical work Maintain a clean and organized work area Maintain equipment in area, as required May be required to help in field assignments Required to climb and work at various elevations depending on job scope Must be able to operate motor vehicle Must have a safety awareness in the industrial workplace Must be able to document and enter job data

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent Current Basic OSHA Safety Training (preferred) Job specific degree and/or certification (preferred) Current or up-to-date TWIC (preferred) 5 years or more control valve industrial experience
