Senior DevOps Engineer

What you'll do: Own, design, build and maintain infrastructure across cloud-based and on-premise IoT environments, ensuring reliability, security and scalability Develop tooling to improve the deployment, management and monitoring of customer premise equipment, IoT devices and backend systems Drive system architecture and modernisation projects from design through to production operations Enhance observability across infrastructure and devices, using both custom tooling and off-the-shelf offerings Implement secure connectivity for resilient device-to-cloud communication Mentor teammates and set the bar on infrastructure engineering practice What you'll need 5+ years in infrastructure engineering, SRE or Dev Ops, with a strong Linux sysadmin foundation Strong Linux and networking knowledge: Docker, firewalls, load balancers, VPNsSolid background in monitoring, alerting and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems Python for building infrastructure tooling Hands-on expertise across a range of AWS services Proven ability to manage and secure hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible, CDK or similarBSc in Computer Science or equivalent

Nice to have: Managing servers or IoT devices at scaleAWS IoT offerings, particularly Greengrass v 2 Secure infrastructure design practice The environment Agentic development is standard here, so you'd be governing agents responsibly in production rather than arguing about whether to adopt them.
