Role Description: The Food and Beverage Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami, FL, overseeing daily food and beverage operations across the venue. This role ensures consistent service standards, monitors product quality, and supervises staff scheduling, training, and performance. The manager collaborates with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient workflows, optimize inventory and purchasing, and enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Responsibilities include managing budgets and cost controls, analyzing sales and guest feedback, and implementing improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. The role also involves supporting special events, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining strong relationships with guests and partners in the local Cuban culinary community.
Qualifications: Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues effectively. Demonstrated expertise in Operations Management, including staffing, scheduling, inventory control, and adherence to health and safety standards. Hands-on experience in Food Service, with a solid understanding of front-of-house and back-of-house workflows. Comprehensive knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, menu execution, and quality control. Proven leadership and team management abilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using POS and basic office software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in en_US; bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly beneficial. Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably within a culturally focused or Cuban culinary environment. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience is also considered.
