The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Net Suite CPQ Developer to join our team immediately to design, develop, and optimize configure-price-quote solutions within the Net Suite platform. This contract position focuses heavily on Net Suite CPQ configuration, guided selling and pricing logic, advanced Suite Scripting, and quote-to-cash workflow automation. The selected consultant will partner with sales operations, functional teams, and stakeholders to translate complex pricing and quoting needs into clean, performant code, while ensuring compliance with platform governance limits.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Net Suite CPQ solutions using Suite Script 2.x (including client, user event, scheduled, map/reduce, RESTlet, and Suitelet scripts).Configure and maintain CPQ product rules, pricing rules, guided selling questions, quote templates, and approval workflows (Suite Flow) to support evolving sales processes. Customize and extend Net Suite CPQ including the product configurator, discount and pricing engine, quote-to-order conversion, and integrations with CRM/Opportunity records. Translate complex pricing, bundling, and quoting requirements into technical specifications and scalable Net Suite CPQ architecture. Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor mid-level and junior developers on CPQ best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ configuration errors, script performance issues (governance limits, script execution time), and quote or pricing data integrity problems. Manage SDF (Suite Cloud Development Framework) bundles/projects and support CI/CD deployment practices for CPQ customizations. Partner with sales operations, functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to scope CPQ enhancements and estimate development effort. Maintain technical documentation for CPQ configurations, custom scripts, workflows, and solutions. Support Net Suite release upgrades by testing and remediating CPQ configurations and custom code for compatibility.
Qualifications:
8+ years of overall hands-on software development experience.5+ years of focused, hands-on Net Suite development experience, including Suite Script 2.0/2.1.3+ years of hands-on experience with Net Suite CPQ, including product configuration, pricing rules, guided selling, and quote templates. Strong Java Script, HTML/CSS fundamentals and experience with Suite Script modules (such as N/record, N/search, N/runtime, N/https, etc.).Proven experience configuring CPQ guided selling rules, product bundles, discount schedules, and approval workflows (Suite Flow).Experience with Suite Talk (SOAP/REST web services) and building/consuming RESTlets for CPQ and CRM integrations. Solid understanding of Net Suite governance limits, script deployment types, and performance optimization techniques. Experience with Suite Cloud Development Framework (SDF) and version control (Git).Experience with Free Marker, RequireJS, and Visual Studio Code. Deep knowledge of Net Suite's data model across core modules (Order Management, CRM/Opportunities, Items, and Pricing).Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to work independently on ambiguous problems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
