About the role

Job Description: Clerk III

Pay: $19.00/hr - $23.00/hrSchedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 3pm, 35 hours weekly

Location: Varies - CDPH immunizations clinics and mobile community vaccination events

Minimum qualifications: two years of clerical experience or combination of training and experience.

Responsibilities: Registers patients upon arrival, collects demographic data, Documents verification of eligibility using the State MEDI system, Looks up clients' I-CARE records to support the vaccination actions of the Public Health Nurse IManages medical supply inventories, paper supplies, Performs data entry into I-CARE for vaccines administered by the Public Health Nurse IProvides good customer service and maintains positive relationships with the public, Prepares and send provider notification letters regarding vaccines administered in the clinic, Accepts requests from the public for immunization records, Maintains various files and records for reports
