Sr Proposal Manager (R5816)

Overview In this role you will lead ASME proposal efforts within Shield AI’s Go To Market team, shaping compliant bids and related deliverables. You’ll coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to translate customer needs into strong proposals and RFI responses. You’ll drive fast-paced, detail-oriented processes that enable timely submissions while maintaining high quality. This position offers the chance to influence international government and commercial engagements at scale. Compensation / Benefits Bonus Benefits Equity Remote work Responsibilities Manage competing proposal and deliverable workstreams (WPs, RFIs, ROMs) in a fast-paced environment Lead end-to-end proposal execution from pre-RFP planning to submission and closeout Drive cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-quality submissions on schedule Continuously improve proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices Mentor proposal contributors and foster high-performing teams Support ASME GTM briefing and presentation development for customer engagements Assist with customer meetings, demonstrations, and GTM events as needed Provide additional support to BD Ops and GTM leadership as required Key requirements 2-4+ years of U.S. Federal or international government proposal development or BD operations experience Or 3+ years’ experience working with U.S. Federal or International government requirements in lieu of direct proposal experience Bachelor's degree in business, communication, marketing, engineering, or equivalent industry experience Strong academic record Experience with proposal methodologies (e.g. Shipley), compliance matrices, and project management tools Proven leadership experience Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, orally and in writing Ability to collaborate across teams and adapt to startup environment Ability to work with people at all organizational levels Demonstrated work ethic, reliability, and kindnessleadershipstrong communicationattention to detailproposal methodologies (e.g., Shipley)compliance matricesexperience with government bid/proposal processes
