Staffing, parent communication, scheduling, complianceofstate requirements and all MHC policies. Manages the Children’s Educational Services by addressing the specific and unique needs of the children, parents, and staff. Quality care will be promoted through the physical, social, emotionaland cognitive development ofthe children. Communicates, relatesand interacts effectively with all children, parents, and staff. Maintains confidentiality of information and records. Responds to parents/children’s questions, concerns and needs effectively andtimely. Coordinate with the MHC Child Development Manager on developing goals andobjectivesfor the Child Development Department, and will be responsibleto develop, implementandevaluateprogram policies. Willoperatethe Child Development programs within budgetary parameters. Is responsibleto maintainLicensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) standards. Performs all other duties as assigned. Overseesprogram compliance with Head Start, Early Head Start, and Great Start Readiness Program. Collaborates with other Child Development related agencies for program compliance and implementation. Participates in strengthening relationships with community collaborative effortsin the area ofEarly Childhood. Overseesall budgetary and financial parameters related togrant basedpartnerships. Acts as a mentor with new MHC Child Development department programs related togrant basedpartnerships Monitoring and evaluating each staff member.

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Developmentwith aBachelor’s Degreein a related field of study such as Social Work, Business, Psychology etc. OR Current CDA Certificate with 12 hours of Child Development classes Must meet State of Michigan Department of Social Services licensing requirements for a Program Director Must havedemonstratedknowledge of Early Childhood development and the ability to manage achild carefacility. Must complete all CACFP duties as assigned Demonstrated ability to effectivelyassistwith development and management of the child development department Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds. Schedule Monday - Friday (between hours of 6am - 6pm) Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella. MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
