About this Job:
Open to experienced acute-care RNs with at least 2 years of experience. MedStar Harbor Hospital Float Pool Summary* Float to a variety of units (Med Surg/Tele/Neuro/IMC/ICU and ED Boarders)
- Waterfront location
- Magnet hospital Pay* Base Pay based on working years of experience as a nurse
- $3/hour float pool differential (X 12 hours)
- Shift differentials ($4/hour evening differential from 3-7p for day shifters; $5/hour X 12 hours for night shifters)
- Weekend Differential (X 12 hours)
- Hourly charge/preceptor pay Available Roles:* Full Time Days
- Full Time Nights
- Part Time Days
- PRN Days
- PRN Nights Schedules* Full Time : three 12-hour shifts per week and every other weekend (6 weekend shifts), 3 holidays a year, two hard-to-fill shifts per year)
- Part Time: two 12-hour shifts per week and every other weekend (3 weekend shifts), holiday & hard-to-fill shifts per year)
- PRN: minimum of six 12-hour shifts in 6 weeks, 3 weekend or night shifts in 6 weeks, 1 holiday a year, 1 hard-to-fill shifts per year
Qualifications:
- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- 2 years of RN experience required; at least 2 years of strong Telemetry RN experience highly preferred.
- Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). ACLS/NIHSS strongly preferred.
