CNC Machinist

Emerson Apparatus is seeking an experienced Machinist to join our small manufacturing company. We’ve been a leader in providing high quality laboratory testing equipment since 1908 to many various industries. We are looking for a Full-time machinist with skill in CNC Mills along with some conventional machines. We are hoping to find the right person with experience, work ethic and a positive attitude to join our team. Wage depends on experience and knowledge.*Job Description/Responsibilities:** Knowledge of machine shop practices. Setup, operate and programming of CNC Mills. CNC Lathe experience a plus.* Wide variety of materials from Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Steel, Brass/Bronze, Plastics* Production on runs from 1 to 100 and everything in between* Must be comfortable working to tolerances down to +/-.0005* Safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment* Interpret engineering drawings and specifications* Set up and adjust machines for production runs* Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments* Maintain a clean and organized work area* Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills a plus* Dependable transportation on a must
