Your Work MattersThe Health & Welfare Benefits Manager will manage benefit plans, compliance, and third-party vendor partnerships for Floor & Decor’s Health & Welfare benefits program. Experience in implementing/managing new plan design and vendors is required as well as an understanding of benefits market competitiveness. This position will oversee analysts on the Benefits team and work closely with our broker, legal, and cross-functional departments. Your Day Consist OfResponsible to manage and administer the company’s health and welfare plans and other ancillary benefits. Drive strategic planning, design, implementation, maintenance, compliance, and administration of benefit and wellness programs. Responsible for planning, communication, and execution of annual open enrollment. Build and deliver effective communication strategies to educate employees of our health & welfare benefit offerings. Create clear, user-friendly materials and presentations. Collaborate with broker and consultants to review and analyze benefit trends and make recommendations for enhancing current benefits to ensure market competitiveness and talent retention. Responsible for supporting federal and state compliance and annual submissions: IRS filings (i.e., 5500s, 1094/1095), required communications, audits, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ACA and annual non-discrimination testing. Work closely with ERISA counsel to ensure Plans remain in compliance and plan documentation remains current. Strong understanding of Workday and Payroll Ability to lead projects and initiatives as needed.
