The Opportunity:
As Senior Engineer for Instrumentation & Controls, you will provide engineering ownership and technical leadership across the full lifecycle of critical facility systems — including Life Safety Systems, Toxic Gas Monitoring (TGM), SCADA, I&C, IoT/Digitalization, Telecom, and Security systems — for advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities across a global network.
You will partner with cross-functional teams spanning Manufacturing, IT, Procurement, Construction, and Operations to ensure facility systems are reliable, efficient, scalable, and aligned with global engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead planning, design, construction, and operations of semiconductor manufacturing infrastructure including Life Safety, TGM, SCADA, I&C, IoT, Telecom, and Security systems across a global facility network.
Manage large-scale projects — including U.S. greenfield FAB programmes — with a focus on engineering innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, IT, Procurement, Construction, O&M, and other teams to ensure project alignment and execution.
Ensure facility systems are reliable, efficient, scalable, and aligned with global engineering standards and strategic objectives.
Implement standard methodologies and guidelines across global sites for construction, development, and operations.
Provide technical leadership and oversight throughout the full project lifecycle — from concept and design through commissioning and operations.
Benchmark best practices and Best Known Methods (BKM) across internal and external sites, driving continuous improvement.
Integrate sustainability principles into facility design and operations in support of corporate environmental goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of proven experience in Facility I&C/ELV design and engineering for semiconductor manufacturing or high-tech industries.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 15–25% of the time — non-negotiable requirement.
Proven ability to plan, drive, and complete complex projects effectively.
Proven skills in working effectively with team members across different subject areas and disciplines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks concurrently.
Excellent organisational skills and a strong service orientation.
Strong communication and teamwork skills across international teams.
Continuous learning mindset with a commitment to professional development.
