JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSWe are searching for a motivated undergraduate student to join the Fluids Dynamics and Acoustic Office at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State. This fall/spring internship will concentrate on research to enhance their readiness for successful and impactful careers in engineering, tribology, and/or national security. Typical focus areas include:* Support engineering testing, data analysis, and data visualization* Perform hands-on work in a laboratory environment* Use multiple computing languages, analysis tools, simulations, and measurement systems Students majoring in the following fields are encouraged to apply:* Undergraduate students majoring in Aerospace Engineering Interest Skills/Experience areas include:* Willingness to learn* Organizational skill* Understanding of multiple computer languages Current eligibility for access to classified information at the Secret level or higher is preferred. You may also be subject to a government background investigation to upgrade clearance eligibility, if required. You will work up to 20 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and have the opportunity to work up to 40 hours/week over the summer. This is a paid internship opportunity, and location will be fully on-site located in State College, PARelocation and housing are not provided.
