About the role

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic leader who loves working with young children and is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment. As our Assistant Director / Lead Infant-Toddler Teacher, you’ll guide and support a team of caring educators, partner with families to foster each child’s success, and bring creativity into the classroom through age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and growth.
What You’ll Do: Oversee and mentor teachers to ensure exceptional care and learning experiences. Build strong relationships with families, supporting each child’s unique development Plan and implement engaging activities that encourage exploration and learning.
Requirements: Oregon Criminal Background Check Infant/Child/Adult First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain) Oregon Food Handlers Card (or willingness to obtain) Three references who can speak to your reliability and work ethic (at least one from a previous employer) Experience working with children ages 6 weeks–6 years old Strong leadership, multitasking skills, and reliability Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods Health and dental insurance Paid time off (PTO) Professional development and training opportunities
