Location: Chicago / Charlotte preferred, open across Eastern & Central US
Salary: $165k–$195k + sign-on bonus
Working pattern: Monday–Thursday on client site, with travel across the USWe are partnered with a high-growth international consulting firm that is expanding its presence across the US and looking to hire experienced consultants across Lead Consultant and Principal Consultant levels. This is an opportunity to join a growing US business at a formative stage, working with Fortune 500 clients on large-scale operational and performance transformation programmes.
The opportunity:
The focus is on understanding how an organisation operates today, identifying where the biggest opportunities sit, and then working directly alongside the client to implement changes that deliver measurable, lasting results.
Projects can include:
- Operations and performance improvement
- Supply chain transformation
- Process improvement
- Increasing output and productivity
- Reducing costs and waste
- Improving yield and operational efficiency
- Reducing energy consumption
- Large-scale transformation programmes
- Data-driven operational diagnostics and implementation
You'll work closely with client teams, using data and analysis to identify opportunities and then staying involved through implementation to ensure the benefits are realised.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading operational transformation programmes and workstreams
- Managing teams of approximately 4–8 consultants
- Working directly with client teams on-site
- Building relationships with senior client stakeholders and executives
- Using data to identify and quantify opportunities for improvement
- Driving implementation and ensuring measurable outcomes are achieved
- Managing delivery, governance and resourcing
- Identifying further opportunities to create value for clients
- Supporting the continued growth of the US business
What we're looking for:

- Previous consulting experience
Sector experience in consumer, retail, manufacturing or energy infrastructure is particularly relevant.
You'll also ideally have:
Experience leading teams and/or workstreams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders
A track record of delivering measurable operational or financial impact
Strong academic credentials
A willingness to travel and work on client site Monday–Thursday

Compensation:
