Supervisory Aviation Safety And Compliance Specialist (Branch Chief- Aviation Maintenance) As a Supervisory Aviation Safety And Compliance Specialist (Branch Chief- Aviation Maintenance), your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Supervise personnel responsible for scheduling and tracking all aircraft maintenance activities. Serve as the senior aviation safety authority, coordinating with pilots to identify maintenance needs and arranging aircraft inspections with vendors or the DOI repair station. Provide expert advisory services to leadership and interagency partners on aircraft maintenance, alterations, and emerging technologies that enhance mission effectiveness and cost efficiency. Direct and coordinates aircraft maintenance with vendors for the DOI fleet in Alaska and the lower 48.Apply FAA and Federal Acquisition Regulations in support of high-value, complex procurement actions.
