About the Role: Agency RNs will provideinpatient-level nursing careto admitted patients boarding in the ED, ensuring patient safety, continuity of care, and efficient patient flow during periods of high hospital census.

Patient Assignment Ratio: Up to 4 patients (4:1) Patients may include: ? Telemetry monitoring ? IV medication administration ? Post-procedural care ? General medical-surgical patients awaiting inpatient placement You'll support a facility with: ? 9 Medical-Surgical Units ? 5 Step-Down Units

Requirements: ? Active RN License ? Recent Inpatient Medical-Surgical Experience Required ? Telemetry Certification ? BLS Certification ? ACLS Certification ? NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Scheduling & RTO Guidelines ? Night Shift Only ? Maximum 5 days of RTO ? Additional Information • This role is dedicated to caring for admitted boarder patients located within the Emergency Department. • RNs are not expected to take regular Emergency Department patient assignments. • Assignments will remain within the ED boarder care model. • Nurses may care for patients of varying acuity levels consistent with their experience and skill set. • If departmental or organizational needs change, nurses may be temporarily reassigned to another unit within their clinical competency. • Floating Required to: All inpatient Medical-Surgical units across the hospital Women's & Family units as needed Step-Down units ED Med Surg hold areas
