STICK-MIG PIPE WELDER/DAY SHIFT/$27+DOE

Overview: We're seeking an experienced SMAW/GMAW Welder with the ability to produce RT-acceptable welds on pipe. The ideal candidate will be skilled in both SMAW and GMAW processes, able to interpret blueprints accurately, and capable of passing a 6G and branch weld test. This position requires precision, consistency, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities: Perform SMAW and GMAW welding processes on pipe and structural components Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and project documentation Produce RT-acceptable welds that meet code and inspection requirements Perform 6G and branch weld tests on 12"-on-12" minimum diameter pipe Inspect and verify weld quality during and after production Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup and calibration Follow all safety and quality control standards

Qualifications: Proven experience as a SMAW/GMAW pipe welder in an industrial or fabrication setting Ability to pass a 6G and branch test (12"-on-12" minimum diameter)Strong understanding of welding procedures, codes, and safety requirements Ability to read and follow detailed blueprints and weld maps Commitment to producing consistent, high-quality welds

Schedule: Week Day Shift - Monday - Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm Weekend Shift - Friday - Sunday 5:30am-6:30pm
