Assistant Bilingual Speech Therapy

Assistant Bilingual Speech Therapy Assist in translating of instruction, preparation and management of classroom activities and administrative requirements under the supervision of a speech language pathologist. Assist in producing therapy material and activities. Work with individual students or small groups to conduct instructional exercises assigned by the speech language pathologist. Assist in supervising students throughout the school day, both inside and outside of the school. Assist in the maintenance of the personal hygiene of students. Assist in lifting and positioning students as directed by the teacher. Perform or assist with self-help skills for students such as toileting, feeding, dressing and diaper changes. Perform routine clerical duties. Assist in maintaining a neat and orderly classroom. Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events, as needed. Uphold and enforce school rules, administrative regulations, and state and local board policy.
