Facilities & Construction Manager Centurion Restaurant Group | Full-Time | South Florida Based | Up to 30% Travel Centurion Restaurant Group is looking for an experienced Facilities & Construction Manager to oversee the ongoing maintenance, functionality, and physical condition of our restaurant portfolio, while also supporting renovations, capital improvements, and construction projects as they arise. This role sits at the intersection of facilities, restaurant operations, and project management. Your primary focus will be making sure our restaurants remain operational, well-maintained, and supported—from preventative maintenance and vendor management to troubleshooting urgent facility and equipment issues. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, stays ahead of potential problems, and understands that in restaurant operations, a facility issue can quickly become an operational issue. You'll also bring the project management experience needed to lead larger repairs, renovations, CAPEX projects, and future restaurant openings.
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll take the lead on facilities management and preventative maintenance across our locations, while overseeing construction and capital projects as business needs arise.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing ongoing facility maintenance and repair needs across multiple restaurant locations Partnering with restaurant leadership to identify facility concerns, prioritize repairs, and minimize disruption to operations Developing and maintaining strong preventative maintenance programs for restaurant equipment and building systems Conducting regular facility assessments and proactively identifying maintenance, repair, and capital needs Managing service vendors and contractors, ensuring responsiveness, quality, competitive pricing, and completion of work Troubleshooting recurring facility and equipment issues and driving long-term solutions Maintaining accurate vendor, equipment, warranty, service, and preventative maintenance information across locations Monitoring key restaurant systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exhaust/hood systems, Ansul/fire suppression, grease systems, and fire/life safety Ensuring required maintenance, servicing, and inspections are completed according to applicable regulations and manufacturer requirements Evaluating repair versus replacement needs and helping prioritize capital expenditures Leading approved CAPEX projects, major repairs, renovations, and remodels from planning through completion Managing new restaurant construction and openings as opportunities arise Coordinating architects, general contractors, landlords, vendors, permitting, inspections, FF&E, schedules, budgets, and project deadlines Identifying potential project challenges early and driving solutions through completion
What We're Looking For:
We're looking for someone with a strong facilities management background who understands the demands of keeping multiple restaurant locations operational and has the project management experience to successfully oversee larger renovations and construction initiatives. Ideally, you bring: Multi-unit facilities management experience, preferably within restaurants, hospitality, retail, or another fast-paced commercial environment Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and commercial building systems Working knowledge of restaurant systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, exhaust/hood systems, Ansul/fire suppression, grease systems, and fire/life safety Experience managing service vendors, contractors, repairs, and ongoing maintenance programs Construction or project management experience involving renovations, remodels, CAPEX, or commercial construction Experience with permitting, plan review, inspections, contractor management, and FF&EThe ability to manage multiple locations, vendors, priorities, and projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly when a facility issue impacts restaurant operations Strong follow-through and the ability to hold vendors and contractors accountable Clear, confident communication with restaurant leadership, internal teams, and external partners Must be based in South Florida Ability to travel up to 30% based on business and project needs Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
