Convenience Store Sales Associate

Country Fair is seeking a friendly, reliable Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced convenience store environment. In this role, you’ll greet customers, operate the register, handle fuel and in-store transactions, and assist with foodservice, merchandising, and store cleanliness. You’ll help maintain stocked, organized shelves and a safe, welcoming store. Ideal candidates are dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working flexible shifts. Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service Operate POS system, handle cash, and balance register accurately Assist customers with fuel and in-store product purchases Stock, rotate, and merchandise products on shelves and coolers Maintain store cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, and foodservice areas Follow food safety, age-restricted sales, and loss prevention procedures Monitor forecourt and report safety or maintenance issues Work collaboratively with team members and follow manager direction Support execution of promotions and in-store displays Adhere to all company policies and safety standards Point-of-sale (POS) operation Cash handling and reconciliation Customer service Merchandising and stocking Food safety and handling basics Loss prevention awareness Basic math skills Cleaning and sanitation procedures Fuel pump and forecourt monitoring Communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Food Handler or ServSafe certification (preferred) Basic first aid/CPR (a plus)
