About the role

Network Systems Analyst Interviews for selected candidates will be scheduled the week of September 28, 2026.Nevada County is nestled in California's Sierra Nevada foothills, about an hour outside Sacramento and two hours from the San Francisco Bay Area. This is an excellent opportunity to join us in the role of Network Systems Analyst for the Server Administration team! This position helps to implement and maintain dependable, stable, and secure server, storage, cloud, and identity management solutions. The Network System Analyst assists with architecting the virtual and physical data storage, processing, identity, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure for all county departments and programs. Responsibilities may include implementing and maintaining systems across multiple locations, supporting primary and backup data centers, and cloud-based environments. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Network Systems Analyst collaborates and partners with members of other technical areas such as Applications, Desktop, Network, and Security to plan and execute projects and maintenance. This position is a key partner in diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, and design and provides coordination and prioritization with the team. This position plans continuous improvement in the area of responsibility, providing recommendations for future upgrades and replacement needs to maintain a supportable and secure infrastructure. Minimum Qualifications Level ICompletion of two years of college-level work in information systems, computer science, or a closely related field.[OR]Completion of two years of college-level work in any subject and two years of technical work experience.[OR]Five years of directly related technical computer services work experience. Level II (in addition to the above): Two years experience performing work equivalent to Nevada County's classification of Network System Analyst I.
