Physician / Surgery - General / Michigan / Locum tenens / Physician - Urologist Surgeon Job

Responsibilities and Duties: Manage common hospital procedures including kidney stones, consults on CBI, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements. Provide patient consults and address all on-call questions, transfers, and consult inquiries. Perform rounding on new admissions and any inpatients requiring attention. Provide 24-hour call coverage with an expected on-site presence of 2-4 hours per day for rounding. Handle discharge responsibilities.

Additional Information: Board Certification in Urology is required. The facility utilizes Athena and Cerner EMR systems. The schedule involves 24-hour call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM.Anticipate seeing 1-5 inpatient patients per shift. Work in a Trauma Level 2 facility. Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60 days.
