Host an Exchange Student : Meet Vincent from Germany!

Vincent is ambitious and athletic with a passion for sports and history. He loves playing hockey and says it's like meditation when he can focus and get into a "flow state." Other activities include running, cycling, swimming, and skiing. Vincent says he's a mix of self-assured and easygoing. He values people who are direct and honest and who work hard for their goals while staying grounded and maintaining a sense of humor. Vincent is social and independent and is excited to embark on his year abroad! He would like to be a diplomat or pilot so he can see the world and take on new challenges! Why host with AFS?With over 75 years of experience and 100 years of history, AFS is a leader in international high school exchange. One thing that sets us apart is our network of almost 3,000 volunteers throughout the U.S. Many of our volunteers have hosted international exchange students or studied abroad with AFS. These local volunteers support families, students, and schools in gaining the most from their hosting experience. Extend Your Family Host families often develop close relationships with their student's family, and many find opportunities to visit them long after they've returned home.
