Clinical Research & Program Lead Rehab Log | Paid, full-time | Remote — United States About Rehab Log Rehab Log helps patients and providers understand what changes between visits. Patients complete 60-second check-ins about pain, daily function, and recovery goals. Clinicians can review trends, reports, and SOAP note drafts to support better-informed follow-up conversations and care decisions. We are a founder-led health technology company focused on PM&R practices, pain clinics, and rehabilitation teams.
About the role: We are looking for a Clinical Research & Program Lead with graduate training and relevant research or program management experience. You will work directly with the founder to plan clinical pilots, evaluate patient-reported information, coordinate partners, and turn findings into practical product improvements.
Responsibilities: Develop pilot plans with clear objectives, outcome measures, timelines, and evaluation methods. Help select appropriate patient-reported measures for pain, daily function, and recovery goals. Analyze aggregated or deidentified data, assess data quality, and explain findings and limitations. Prepare literature reviews, research summaries, pilot reports, and recommendations. Coordinate clinic partners, project milestones, feedback collection, and program logistics. Work with clinicians and the product team to improve check-in content, reports, and clinician summaries. Gather and evaluate feedback from patients, clinicians, and partner organizations. Support research ethics review and IRB coordination when applicable. Track deliverables and keep the founder and partner teams informed about progress.
Required qualifications: A master's degree or PhD in rehabilitation science, public health, clinical research, health services research, psychology, kinesiology, healthcare management, or a related field. Relevant experience in research, program management, or outcomes evaluation within rehabilitation, pain management, digital health, or related healthcare settings. Working knowledge of research methods, study design, and quantitative or qualitative evaluation. Ability to organize projects, coordinate stakeholders, and manage deadlines. Strong writing skills and ability to explain findings clearly to clinical and nonclinical audiences. Ability to work independently and collaborate remotely within a small team. Availability for a full-time role based in the United States.
Preferred qualifications: Experience with patient-reported outcome measures, digital health products, or clinic-based pilots. Familiarity with PM&R, pain medicine, or rehabilitation workflows. Experience using statistical or research analysis tools such as R, Python, SPSS, Stata, or equivalent. Familiarity with research ethics, IRB processes, or mixed-methods evaluation.
