Field Service Engineer (CNC Machines)

Job Responsibilities: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and do repairs on CNC MachinesAssist in field start-up and customer training when necessaryReplace ball screws, motors and cartridge spindlesUse ladder and diagnostic functions on all controlsPhone support for troubleshooting; daily and heavy at timesPerform first part run off; ensuring machine acceptanceAlign and interface the barfeed unitAlign and adjust toolsRepair spindle bearingsDomestic travel in CA, 2 western region states and occasional international travel (Mexico and Canada) Qualifications & Skills 3-6+ years experience in CNC machine tooling, repairingCustomer field service engineering experienceAbility to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, read ladder diagrams and control diagnosticsElectrical, mechanical and automation experienceInteract professionally with customers by phone and in personExcellent verbal and written communications skillsProficient in geometryDomestic travel in CA, 2 western region states and occasional international (Canada, Mexico)
