Responsibilities:
Handle sophisticated patent prosecution and IP counseling matters for innovative life sciences companies
Advise clients in areas including:
- AntibodiesDNA & RNA therapeutics
- Gene-editing technologies
- Chemical biology
- Molecular and cellular therapeutics
- Collaborate closely with emerging companies and scientific innovators on strategic intellectual property protection
- Qualifications1–5 years of biotechnology patent prosecution experience
- Advanced degree required, preferably a Ph.D., in a life sciences discipline such as:
- Molecular Biology
- ImmunologyBiochemistryCell Biology
- Related scientific fieldsUSPTO Registration Number / Patent Bar membership required
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
CompensationExpected salary range in Massachusetts: $225,000 – $435,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
