Job Title: SAP Basis Senior Administrator

Job Summary: Responsible for the performance, administration, monitoring, maintenance, and availability of SAP and OpenText applications, including associated SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL databases. The resource must have hands‑on administration experience with both SAP ABAP and Java NetWeaver applications, including exposure to S/4HANA in a hybrid virtual/mixed operating‑system environment. The resource is expected to support and manage the City's SAP landscape while maintaining 24x7 availability.

Key Responsibilities: Identify cloud, server, OS, disk and network requirements. Install, upgrade and patch SAP applications, add‑ons, plug‑ins and vendor components. Install, upgrade and patch SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server. Perform database administration, backup and recovery. Administer SAP applications, databases and client landscapes. Perform performance monitoring and tuning. Perform system/client refreshes. Administer TMS and transport processing. Troubleshoot issues and perform root‑cause analysis. Support disaster recovery planning and implementation. Support SAP/non‑SAP interfaces and system integration. Support application printing infrastructure. Provide front‑end desktop/end‑user support. Support SAP users and ERP functional/development teams. Represent the ERP Basis Team in project activities.

Required Skills: SAP BasisLinux and WindowsSAP HANAMicrosoft SQL ServerSAP ABAPECC-to‑S/4HANA migrationS/4HANAC/4HANA and/or BW/4HANASAP Basis certification Strong analytical and communication skills.
