Job Description:
26 North is seeking an entrepreneurial, analytical, and intellectually curious Associate / Senior Associate support the firm’s Private Equity business in Product and Capital Formation. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual looking to make an outsized impact and help build a rapidly growing organization. The Associate / Senior Associate will support the firm’s investor relations and capital formation efforts for 26 North’s Private Equity platform, crafting the narrative for investors and working closely with the broader Business Development and Private Equity deal teams.
Responsibilities:
Investor Materials & Content Prepare institutional-quality materials and content that convey 26 North’s Private Equity strategy, differentiation, and performance to a sophisticated investor base; these include quarterly reporting, investor update presentations, marketing materials, LPAC/AGM materials, portfolio company case studies, and whitepapers Coordinate the distribution of investor-facing materials in collaboration with the broader Business Development and Communications teams in a timely manner Manage inquiries from existing and prospective private fund investors — including RFIs, RFPs, DDQs, NDAs, and ad hoc requests — leveraging internal and external resources to respond to both routine and non-routine questions Proactively populate strategy’s data room with updated marketing materials and data-driven analysis Market Intelligence & Platform Support Create and maintain competitor intelligence profiles and dashboards for senior leadership to monitor the firm’s positioning relative to peers Partner with colleagues to identify best practices and ensure the quality and consistency of investor-facing materials Work with investment and business development team members on ad hoc projects that support the growth of the Private Equity platform
Qualifications:
Experience 3–6+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally including time on an investor relations, capital formation, or business development team for a private equity strategy or at a placement agent Experience through a full fundraising cycle Skills &
Competencies:
Experience crafting clear and compelling narratives in presentations and analyses for an institutional investor base Technical aptitude and command of investment concepts, including fund-level performance metrics and drivers of financial return Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Takes initiative and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, effectively prioritizing, multi-tasking, and meeting deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail Strong track record and demonstrated commitment to upholding our core values of stewardship, integrity, excellence, teamwork, and respect Education Bachelor’s degree required Benefits 26 North offers a competitive base salary and discretionary bonus based on performance as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
