Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Part-Time, Afternoons/Evenings)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing excellent support to pharmacists and outstanding service to patients.
Schedule: Monday through Friday2:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
- Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy system
- Process insurance claims and resolve billing issues
- Manage inventory, restock medications, and monitor expiration dates
- Provide courteous and professional customer service
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration (as required by state)
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred (retail or long-term care)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
Experience with pharmacy management software Knowledge of insurance adjudication and prior authorizations
