Job Description:
POSITION PURPOSEThe Telecommunications Operator is the initial contact the public contacts for assistance at multiple sites. This position is responsible for all departments to receive their calls accurately and timely, along with initiating all alarm, code and on-call procedures. On call procedures include pathways that are detailed that must be followed at all times.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The Telecommunications Operator is the initial contact the public contacts for assistance at multiple sites. This position is responsible for all departments to receive their calls accurately and timely, along with initiating all alarm, code and on-call procedures. On call procedures include pathways that are detailed that must be followed at all times. Experience/Specialized Skills/Aptitudes Clear, concise diction. Excellent telephone and reception manners. Good memory. Good judgment. Public Relations ability. Multi-tasking and remaining calm under pressure mandatory. Must be able to quickly arise from a sitting position to answer/respond to code alarms. Preference for meeting and serving customers and concise detail oriented person is needed. Attendance and compliance with scheduled work time is of high expectation as the department is a 24/7 operation.
