This pivotal role is focused on the preparation for the potential approval and launch of a therapy in relapsing MS. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a consistent core narrative that can be adapted across U.S. and international markets, leading brand architecture decisions, and translating clinical data into a compelling brand story. The role also involves integrated launch planning, building and managing the marketing budget, and designing the global marketing function. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred), at least 15 years of progressive marketing experience in biotechnology or pharmaceuticals, and a proven track record in global brand marketing leadership, particularly in the context of a therapy launch in multiple sclerosis. Applicants for the Vice President, Marketing & Global Brand position at the company should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to build a marketing organization and brand strategy from the ground up, as well as their experience in managing external agency partners. The role requires a deep understanding of the global MS clinical, scientific, and advocacy community, and the ability to operate in a fast-moving, pre-commercial biotech environment. The candidate must be adept at translating scientific data into brand messaging, and have a strong background in omnichannel and digital marketing, particularly in the context of specialty and rare disease. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Patient Advocacy, is essential to ensure the marketing strategy is fully integrated into the launch readiness.
