Grand Home Furnishings is hiring a Warehouse Office Associate to help keep our shipping, receiving and delivery scheduling running smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Do:
Our Warehouse Office Associates keep our shipping and receiving operations running smoothly behind the scenes. Day to day, you'll:
- Print delivery tickets, generate pick lists, and route deliveries in the system per the Shipping Supervisor's instructions
- Review daily delivery volume and communicate with stores regarding scheduling and delivery limits
- Generate transfer lists and assist stores with merchandise sampling and related paperwork
- Verify received merchandise against purchase orders and acknowledge pack lists in the system
- Answer phones, respond to customer and store inquiries, and route messages as needed
- Maintain vendor files, manage petty cash, and keep the office work area organized
What We're Looking For:
- We care about your organization, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Computer proficiency required; experience with warehouse or inventory management systems preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or administrative support role preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
