IT Support Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, email, and in person• Maintain and support desktop PCs, laptops, hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows 11 and MacOS)• Document, track, and monitor issues through to resolution — keeping users informed throughout• Troubleshoot basic network issues and escalate where required• Support users in virtual desktop environments• Identify recurring problems and contribute to process improvements• Other duties as assigned — this is a roll-up-your-sleeves environmentWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR• 2+ years of IT helpdesk experience — this is the baseline requirement• Strong working knowledge of Windows 11, MacOS, and Microsoft Office applications• Basic understanding of network principles and troubleshooting• Excellent customer service skills — you're patient, professional, and clear under pressure• Self-motivated, organised, and highly reliable — predictable availability is essential in this environment• Strong written and spoken English communication skills• A genuine interest in technology and a desire to keep developing• Bachelor's degree preferred — strong candidates without a degree will be considered• Experience with virtual desktop environments is a plusTHE PACKAGE• $33–$36 per hour depending on experience• 12-month contract with conversion to permanent for the right person• Fully onsite Monday to Friday• Global financial technology business — a high-calibre environment that opens doorsWHY THIS ROLE STANDS OUT• Contract to perm — 12 months to prove yourself with a clear path to a permanent seat• Global financial technology firm — the name and the environment will strengthen your CV significantly• Technically demanding user base — you'll be challenged and you'll develop fast• High standards, high expectations, and a team that takes quality seriously• A genuine stepping stone — the right starting point for an ambitious IT careerIT support professional with 2+ years helpdesk experience?
