Prevailing Wager Laborer

Responsibilities: Remove trash and debris from school facilities and surrounding areas in a safe and efficient manner. Collect, sort, and transport waste materials to designated disposal or collection points. Maintain clean and orderly work areas throughout the school site. Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and guidelines while performing labor tasks. Use basic tools and equipment associated with general labor, construction, or production work as needed. Work cooperatively with other team members and follow instructions from onsite supervisors. Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or issues with waste disposal to the appropriate personnel. Complete assigned tasks within the scheduled workday and meet project timelines for the two-week duration. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in environments such as construction, production, or similar settings. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliability in maintaining consistent attendance and punctuality for a Monday through Friday schedule. Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures on a job site. Basic familiarity with handling trash and waste materials in a safe and orderly manner.

Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in general labor, construction, or production work is highly beneficial. Comfort working outdoors or in varying facility conditions. The position involves using basic tools and equipment associated with general labor, construction, or production work, and requires adherence to all site safety guidelines and appropriate work attire suitable for physical labor. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $71.66 - $71.66/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
