Work Environment: This position is primarily remote, offering flexibility while maintaining strong connections with colleagues and clients. Your work hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced and structured work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities: As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with Family Guidance Counseling Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive client assessments to identify emotional, psychological, and social needs, enabling tailored care planning. Developing and implementing customized therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based methodologies to support mental health and wellness. Providing ongoing emotional support and resources to clients and their families, ensuring they feel understood and cared for throughout their journey. Engaging in interdisciplinary team collaboration to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Documenting progress notes and maintaining updated records in adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Participating in ongoing professional training and development workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health practices. Patient Population / Client FocusIn this role, you will work primarily with individuals and families facing terminal illnesses and end-of-life considerations. Your expertise and empathetic approach will play a crucial role in guiding clients through grief, loss, and emotional health challenges. You will provide trauma-informed care that fosters healing and understanding, making a substantial difference in the lives of those you serve.

Qualifications: To be successful in this position, you will need: A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey. Demonstrated proficiency in client assessments and knowledge of therapeutic care strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with a diverse team.

Preferred Experience: While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, particularly in hospice or palliative care environments.
